Getting Started

    The question may come up, what's this girl doing on the web? Aside from a small internet addiction, I'm interested in making a difference in the world with the help of social connections and ever-changing technology. In May of 2014 I hope to embark on a 3 week journey to the heart of Cambodia to do humanitarian work in a country still recovering from the lasting effects of genocide its people faced. Myself and other members of my group will spend time in local orphanages and schools, teaching English and just being an exotic friend to many children who have lost their families. An experience which I hope will teach me just as much as I will teach others. 
    This blog will serve to be my connection to all those who want to help me help others. It will be a way to show how far this journey really takes me, through photos and commentary.
